Saint Jerome School holds high standards for student learning through a well-rounded, value enriched curriculum that is reflected in standardized tests scores and high school placement. Diocesan and New Jersey Student Learning Standards are achieved through the various academic programs offered. The standards are starting points to ensure that the students receive an excellent education as well as provide a framework for instruction.
Teachers are responsible to follow the scope and sequence of the curriculum and to ensure they meet the needs of every student. Teachers are also encouraged to integrate curriculum in order to maximize study and include the following: Religion and Character Education, Integrated Language Arts (Library/Media Center), Math, Science, Social Studies, World Language, Technological Literacy, Music, Art, and Physical Education/Health.
